Agriscience Technology

pawprintThe Academy of Agriscience Technology will train and prepare students for a broad range of agricultural, environmental, animal science and horticulture careers.  This four year program includes subjects covering small animal science, care, production, reproduction and exhibition, horticulture, plant production and landscaping, environmental management, conservation and aquaculture. 


The curriculum for this program is designed to provide students with hands-on, real life experience by working in the lab, greenhouses, out in the field and through supervised agricultural experience programs. 


pawprintAdditionally, students gain leadership development, career development and scholarship opportunities through membership in the FFA. 

Upon completion in this program students will have the opportunity to take the Agriscience Technician Certification Test and graduate with an FFBF certificate and a letter to future employers explaining the benefits of hiring an FFBF certified student.

Through membership and participation in the FFA, student also have the opportunity to graduate with the prestigious State FFA degree which is a complimentary addition to scholarship and college applications.
