This sequence of high school courses parallels the proven PLTW engineering national curriculum. Four courses include Principles of the Biomedical Sciences, Human Body Systems, Medical Interventions, and Biomedical Innovations. The approach is called activities-based, project-based, and problem-based learning. PLTW also links demanding mathematics and science concepts with top-quality academic and technical instruction. This program is designed for the college-bound student interested in health care.
Biomedical students also participate in their Career Student Organization---Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA).
